esta semana mando el link de descarga a todos los "socios" de ihysc. el programa #36 (sí, "#" significa "número") está grabado y queda solo meter la mitad de las voces. el #37 está ideado y posiblemente sea grabado el fin de semana que viene. y todo por que no pasen la navidad sin música... de nada.

no ha pasado casi ni un mes y ya estamos de vuelta!
esta vez les he preparado un programa al uso, con un par de homenajes, novedades y hasta un hidden track!
un par de puntualizaciones: primero decir que el disco de los missing monuments esta muy bien pero sospecho que lo han grabado todo por pistas y se nota un poco en el resultado, el disco suena un pelin agarrotado y contenido. ahora las canciones son monumentales.
la otra puntualizacion es que en la cancion de grudge, dicen que van a colgar a christine de lo mas alto para que nadie la pueda oir, no para que la oiga todo el mundo como digo en mi comentario.

i hate your secret club #33
este especial de verano estaba planeado para el final de la primavera y está centrado en algunas de los discos que salieron con motivo del día de la tienda de discos. pero bueno, planear una cosa y que te salga otra completamente distinta entra siempre dentro de los planes.
cuando escuchen el programa, se darán cuenta de que por primera vez en treinta y tres programas, he puesto una canción abiertamente pesimista, deprimente, oscura, llámenla como quieran. holocaust habla de los pensamientos de una persona sobre el suicidio, mal rollo en un mal momento, pero pienso que saber hacer algo tan bonito como la canción que hizo alex chilton tratando un tema tan chungo y triste como el suicidio, merece doble admiración.
y por último, quiero agradecer a carlos toda su ayuda para que un retrasado como yo sea capaz de poner el reproductor aquí: un besazo, amigo.

treinta programas ya, y tenemos que celebrar, claro que sí. hemos decidido hacer un especial para el aniversario, punq por la patilla, sin interrupciones, una hora y pico de menear craneo y hacer el mal. o al menos ese fue el propósito. mientras se grabó el programa se ingirieron drogas (alcohol incluído), se maltrataron animales y se abusó de menores. y de mayores también.

i hate your secret club #29
Bueno, pues al final me pasó a mi también y el sábado pasado se me frió el disco duro; se hizo caquita y dejó de funcionar, con lo que perdí todo lo que había en el disco duro, el IHYSC#29 incluído. Como hablar es muy fácil y ustedes unos incrédulos, les pego lo único que me queda del programa (y de todos los anteriores, todo hay que decirlo) es el papel que uso como guión para el programa. Porque sí, aunque parezca a veces un mono subnormal hablando, desde hace un tiempo preparo los programas y hasta escribo alguna idea sobre la que hablar cuando pongo una canción determinada. Ver para creer.
La letra no es muy entendible, parece que fuera un médico, pero es que uno no da para más. El programa 29 estaba grabado desde principios de diciembre, esperando a que algún holgazán cambiara un par de adjetivos y lo subiera al ciberespacio. Ahora tenemos que pagar todos por él y el programa 29 vivirá en el limbo.
El #30 comenzará el año con mejor pie.

i hate your secret club #27
por fin se ve el final del verano, y las vacaciones con el. hay que celebrarlo y que mejor manera que con un programa veraniego. desguazamos una cancion de beach boys y ponemos otra de regalo, le metemos mano al punk australiano y estrenamos el mejor single de punk patrio de lo que va de temporada y de parte de la pasada. como para quejarse, vaya.
en el programa hablo de dos generaciones de punk australiano, y despues de grabarlo, me dio por mirar a ver si estaba en lo cierto y realmente hay dos generaciones de punk y no son todos coetaneos. pues bien, x, victims y chosen few empezaron su andadura por el 77; esto me llevo a pensar que mi teoria de las dos generaciones solo pasaba en mi imaginacion, pero cual fue mi sorpresa cuando investigando la biografia de radio birdman y de los saints, me entero de que estos empezaron a dar la barrila alrededor de 1974, tocate las narices.
y luego el personal se enzarza en discusiones sobre si el punk nacio en inglaterra o en estados unidos.

por los pelos, pero el programa de mayo llega a tiempo.
la primera mitad del programa esta dedicada a tom verlaine, asi que si alguien lo considera un tubo, que pase los primeros veinte minutos y problema arreglado. a los demas les recomiendo que se preparen para una sesion de guitarras angulosas y canciones largas. la cancion johnny jewel aparecio en un single y estaba dividida en dos partes, una por cada cara. yo las he juntado para su disfrute. de nada. ah, y el segundo guitarrista de television era richard lloyd, no frank lloyd.
